Common questions
- Which Excel formats are supported?
- Modern .xlsx and legacy .xls files. If your workbook has multiple sheets, the first one is used — put your transactions there.
- My dates show as numbers like 45870. Is that a problem?
- No. Those are Excel serial dates and they convert correctly, along with real date cells and text dates in US, European, or ISO formats.
- Will Quicken accept the generated file?
- The output follows the OFX 1.02 spec with the Quicken-required INTU.BID identifier, and every file is re-parsed with an OFX parser before download.
- Is my data uploaded anywhere?
- No. The workbook is parsed entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server.
